iACT RETAIL SERVICE TRAINING

Kellogg Community Retail Service Training will prepare students to analyze retail management in the areas of managing supply chains, legal and ethical behaviors, marketing selection and retail location analysis, financial reporting, merchandising and pricing, advertising and promotion, customer service and retail selling, and store layout and design. Emphasis is placed on managing the daily operations of the retail industry. Case studies and current events related to business practices are utilized.

KCC’s iACT Retail Service Training Program includes:

  • Foundational skills and technical training in the retail service industry
  • Career coaches to assist in goal setting, academic advising, barrier removal and job placement
  • 15 hours of service-learning experience at local retail establishments

At the conclusion of the training, KCC staff partner with employers to help students make connections with retail service providers.
