Complete Placement Testing
Many courses at Kellogg Community College require that students have specific skill levels in reading, English, or math. To provide a recommendation for students on which courses to start with to ensure the best chance of success, KCC provides the following placement options to get information for a recommendation on how to begin classes:
- Submit your PSAT, SAT or ACT scores to the Testing & Assessment Office at [email protected]
- Complete placement testing at any of the Kellogg Community College Centers, or main campus in Battle Creek. Contact us to set an appointment for virtual testing at a cost of $25
- Complete one or more of the self-assessments and make an appointment to meet with an Academic Advisor to have a discussion of what is your best avenue in choosing courses
For more information can be found on the Testing & Assessment website or by calling 269-965-4136.
Students are required to meet with an academic advisor to review requirements for their program of study. Appointments can be made using Starfish (in the Bruin Portal), by emailing [email protected] or calling 269-965-4124.
