Proctored testing is offered at the following locations:

ALBION — EASTERN ACADEMIC CENTER

Monday & Wednesday 9:00AM – 5:00PM (last appointment at 3:00PM)
Tuesday & Thursday: 9:00AM – 6:30PM (last appointment at 5:00PM)
Friday: 9:30AM – 4:00PM (last appointment at 1:00PM)

Be Prepared
Tests for missed exams and online classes may be completed by appointment only. All students requesting academic testing must schedule a test time 24 hours in advance of the test time. On test day, students must bring photo ID and any material required by the instructor for the test.

What types of tests can be taken at the Testing Center?
Academic testing is currently offered for the following situations:

Make-up exams

Students with disabilities receiving accommodations

Fully online classes
What information do I need to include when scheduling a test?
You’ll need to include the following:

Your instructor’s name (e.g., Jane Smith)

Subject, course number, section, and course name (e.g., Math 125-0160 – Beginning Algebra)
-
Exam name (e.g., Chapter 7 Exam)

Any special notes or information your instructor has provided
What are the rules during testing?
To maintain a fair and distraction-free environment, please:

Arrive on time for your appointment

Remain in the room unless given permission by the proctor

Do not talk during the exam

No food or drink is allowed, except for covered beverages
- Calculators will be provided, personal calculators will not be allowed.

Return all test materials and tools to the proctor before leaving
What should I bring to my testing appointment?

A valid photo ID (e.g., driver’s license, student ID)

A clear mind—you’re going to do great!
Leave all personal belongings in the provided lockers, including phones and smartwatches.
What if I need a testing accommodation?
If you require accommodations for a test, contact the Center for Student Success at 269-965-4150 or schedule an appointment with disability services through Starfish. Accommodations are determined through disability services. We cannot provide accommodations without proper documentation.
Can I bring someone with me to my test, like my parent or my child?
Only individuals actively taking a test are allowed in the Testing Center lab. Unfortunately, guests—including parents, children, or friends—are not permitted in the testing lab.
The Testing Center does not offer childcare or a waiting area for guests. In accordance with college policy, children may not be left unattended in any campus building. We recommend making alternate care arrangements prior to your testing appointment to ensure a smooth and distraction-free experience.
What happens if someone is caught cheating during a test?
Academic integrity is taken very seriously at Kellogg Community College and the Testing Center.
All testing sessions are closely monitored—both in person and via surveillance—for any irregular behavior. If a student is found to be cheating or violating testing rules:
- The test will be immediately stopped
- The student will be dismissed from the Testing Center
- A detailed incident report will be submitted to the appropriate college office or instructor for follow-up
