STUDENT ID CARDS

All students should acquire a student identification card/student ID. One student ID will be provided to all students free of charge upon presentation of proof of registration for the current semester.

Valid student IDs are required for the following activities:

  • Material checkout at libraries serving students
  • Free printing in the library or computer labs
  • Use of the Testing and Assessment Center
  • Miller Building facility use and equipment checkout
  • Reception of financial information from various departments
  • Bruin Bookstore purchases
  • Clinical IDs for Allied Health students

The misuse of a student ID to obtain privileges may result in disciplinary action by the College. Student IDs are validated at the beginning of each semester with proof of registration.

Student Photo Submission Requirements

To ensure that all student photos meet the necessary standards, please adhere to the following guidelines when submitting your photo:

Photo Quality and Specifications:

  • The photo must be high-resolution and in color (no blurry or pixelated images).
  • It must be taken within the last six months.
  • The background should be plain, solid white, or a light-colored backdrop.
  • Proper lighting is required; there should be no shadows on your face, neck, or background.

Appearance and Composition:

  • Maintain a neutral facial expression or a natural smile with both eyes open.
  • Face the camera head-on and look directly into the lens.
  • Your arms should rest naturally by your sides.
  • The photo must match the example style provided.

Prohibited elements:

  • No head coverings, except for religious purposes.
  • No sunglasses.
  • No selfies.
  • No filters of any kind.
  • No digital alterations to the photo.

Failure to meet these requirements may result in the rejection of your photo submission. Please ensure that your photo adheres to these guidelines before submitting.

How to request your KCC Student ID

Step 1:

Go to www.kellogg.edu and click on the Bruin Portal login button.

Step 2:

Login to the Bruin Portal. Use your KCC email address and Password.

Step 3:

Locate and click on the eForms button.

Step 4:

On the left side of the screen, click on forms, then select “AM – Student Picture Upload” in the middle column.

Step 5:

To upload your picture, click on attachments, select Upload Files, Locate the file, click on the file, and then select Open.

Step 6:

Click on the Submit button at the bottom of the page.

 

What happens next?  

Once your photo is approved, your KCC Student ID will be mailed to the address KCC has on record.

Clinical badges can be picked up from your program department.

Please allow approximately two weeks for processing time.
