MCOLES TESTING

KCC is an approved testing site for the Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards Reading & Writing and Physical Fitness Testing for entrance into a police academy. We have scheduled the testing dates and times so any participant is able to take both tests on one day. You must bring valid government-issued photo identification (driver’s license, state ID card, military ID or passport) to each test.

NOTE: All testing dates are limited to 20 participants

The Reading and Writing Test will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. in Room 203 of the Lane Thomas Building on the KCC Battle Creek Campus.

The cost for the Reading and Writing test is $68 and is payable online via credit or debit card. Money orders will be accepted, but should be submitted to Talogy no more than two weeks prior to the testing date. Please click the registration form below for more information. NOTE: All testing dates are limited to 20 participants. If you are testing for entrance into the KCC Police Academy and the testing date you need is full, please call us at 269-660-7703.

The Physical Fitness Test will be held in the Miller Gym in the Miller Physical Education Building on the KCC Battle Creek Campus at 450 North Ave. in Battle Creek. Please bring your completed and signed original MCOLES Physician’s Health Screening Form and appropriate clothing and athletic shoes.

The cost of the Physical Fitness test is $55 and is payable via credit or debit card only. The application deadline is 4 p.m. the Wednesday prior to the testing date. Cancellations for a refund must be received by that time. All payments will be processed on Thursday or Friday prior to the test.

Please Note: Submitting the registration form does not qualify as registered; we will email you to confirm your registration. Please contact us by the Wednesday prior to the test date if you do not receive a confirmation email. We will notify you by email or phone if your testing session is canceled due to inclement weather or low enrollment. A recorded message regarding cancellation will be available the Thursday before a test at 269-660-7703.
