INDUSTRIAL MILLWRIGHT

KCC’s Industrial Millwright Program is an accelerated program designed for individuals who are currently in or seeking to enter the Millwright field. This program provides learners with the opportunity to develop additional maintenance, troubleshooting and repair skills en route to obtaining a two certificates and an associate degree in Industrial Millwright. This stackable credential model is in alignment with industry standards in providing students the opportunity to receive multiple credentials in an expedited manner.

KCC offers an Associate in Applied Science in Industrial Millwright degree, an Industrial Millwright Level 1 Certificate and an Industrial Millwright Level 2 Certificate, as well as the more generalized Associate in Applied Science in Skilled Trades and Industrial Trades Certificate geared towards company-sponsored students. Industrial Millwright Program Learning Outcomes


Industrial Millwright Program learning outcomes include:

  1. Technical: Program graduates will demonstrate the technical knowledge and skills required to install, assemble, repair and dismantle industrial machinery and equipment.
  2. Safety: Program graduates will demonstrate the ability to adhere to safety protocols required in industrial environments, and to safely utilize tools and equipment to install, assemble, repair and dismantle industrial machinery and equipment.
  3. Problem Solving: Program graduates will demonstrate the ability to evaluate evidence, draw conclusions, make decisions and solve problems from a variety of perspectives to install, assemble, repair and dismantle industrial machinery and equipment.
  4. Communication: Program graduates will effectively communicate the technical content of the field, both written and orally, in a manner that is appropriate to audience and purpose.
