MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Maintenance Technicians perform a wide variety of troubleshooting, repairing and preventative maintenance duties in an organization. They could find themselves working with a plethora of systems including hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.

KCC’s 16-credit Industrial Maintenance Technician Certificate prepares students to quickly step into one of the thousands of maintenance tech positions currently unfilled in the State of Michigan, while also providing flexibility for student interests as well as the breadth of positions available. This certificate is also intended to be completed in as little as one year.

KCC’s Maintenance Technician Program is designed for career entry and/or advancement.

The flexible coursework allows a student the ability to expand their education in specific industry specialties once the base industrial trades coursework is completed.
