HISTORY
The study of history is an important tool in understanding, interpreting and communicating the changes in society and society’s perceived views of previous events, themes and trends. Analyzing and discussing the influences that contributed to each event, theme and trend creates an increased understanding of how they first occurred and of the effects that resulted in the change to society.
