Admissions

Getting started is easy at Kellogg Community College. We have an open admissions policy and we never charge an application fee. It takes just a few simple steps to enroll online. Once you complete these steps, you’re eligible to take credit classes at any of our 5 campuses or online. Applications are accepted year-round. Welcome to Bruin Country!

New Student

This category includes first time in college students who have not previously attended a college or university or were not dual enrolled at an college or university. Dual Enrolled students who have graduated from high school should apply as a Returning student. See Returning Student tab below.

Transfer Student

This category is for students who have previously enrolled in another college or university prior to attending Kellogg Community College.

Returning Student

This category includes those who previously attended Kellogg Community College and have not attended in three consecutive semesters who plan on returning to take classes. This category also includes students who have previously Dual Enrolled and have graduated high school who are now enrolling as a general student.

Guest Student

This category includes students who are currently attending another college or university and desire concurrent admission to Kellogg Community College.

Dual Enrolled Student

This category includes students who have not completed high school and have a desire to supplement their studies with college-level course work. Interested students need to contact their high school counselor or principal for additional information opportunities within their district.

Early College Student

This category includes students who have not completed high school and have a desire to supplement their studies with college-level course work. In addition, Early College students will remain enrolled through their high school for additional 5th year with the possibility of earning an Associate’s degree upon completion. Interested students need to contact their high school counselor or principal for additional information opportunities within their district.

Admission to the College does not ensure admission or enrollment into a specific academic program. In certain instances, prerequisites and/or eligibility requirements exist.
