Event Details
Kellogg Community College’s student-led Kellogg Activities Board (KAB) is observing Autism Awareness Month with a series of campus and community events focused on increasing the awareness and acceptance of autism.
During Hands Across KCC, participants will meet at the centrally located Circle Drive on campus and link hands toward the Miller Physical Education Building on the north side of campus and Davidson Visual and Performing Arts Center on the south side of campus to create a human chain. The activity is designed to show how unity can create change by symbolizing support, inclusion and the diversity of the autism spectrum.
This event is free and open to the public.
Participants should arrive by 3:15 p.m. and be prepared for a Hands Across KCC photo at approximately 3:45 p.m.
The Kellogg Activities Board is a group of students interested in planning activities on campus and being actively involved on campus.
