EMPCO TESTING

We have partnered with Empco Incorporated to offer testing for employment as a law enforcement officer, deputy sheriff or corrections officer. Many departments throughout Michigan have partnered with Empco to test for positions they have available or to create eligibility lists for future job postings.

Test participants have an have an hour and a half to complete the Corrections test and two and a half hours to complete the Deputy Sheriff and Law Enforcement tests. The cost of each test is $75, and the tests can be taken no more than twice in one year. If a participant tests more than once, their most recent score will be posted as their score even if it is lower than the first score. Test scores will be valid for one year from the test date. More information about testing, along with a list of participating departments, can be found on the Empco website at empco.net.

Most test dates are scheduled on an as-needed basis. If you need to complete a test and a testing date is not listed below, please contact our office at 269-660-7703 to schedule one.
